Stand Up for What’s Right. Report What’s Wrong!

Have you been in a situation where you have witnessed or experienced an unethical or immoral incident related to our organisation? If so, here is some handy information for you on how you can go about reporting such incidents.

Whistleblowing is the act of reporting misconduct in an organisation to the respective organisation authorities. A crucial practice to stop unethical and illegal misconduct, whistleblowing is one of the most effective ways to expose latent fraudulent practices that might disintegrate an organisation from within.

The fraud prevention policy of UAE Exchange reinforces our zero-tolerance approach to fraudulent conduct. It sets out our stance on fraud prevention, detection and investigation, which helps to mitigate swindles, corruption and misconduct. It also provides guidance on how to respond to such issues, should they arise.

UAE Exchange is committed to:

  • Develop a culture where it is safe for stakeholders as well as employees to raise concerns about any poor or unacceptable practice and/or any event of misconduct.
  • Provide assurance to one and all that any suspected fraudulent activity will not be tolerated and will be fully investigated, with prompt corrective and preventive actions implemented and punitive measures adopted against those found guilty of such acts.

In addition to making the whistleblower disclosure channel available to our employees, we offer third parties a channel through which they can report any irregularities. We strongly recommend that our stakeholders, including customers, partners and business associates and even our employees, discuss their concerns and report irregularities or wrongdoings to UAE Exchange authorities through the right channels.

If you, as a member of the public, stakeholder or outside contractor, wish to raise a concern about alleged impropriety, wrongdoing, corruption, fraud, malpractice, inappropriate or unethical conduct happening within UAE Exchange or demonstrated by a UAE Exchange personnel, we urge you to contact us.

UAE Exchange will not penalise anyone who reports possible dishonest or illegal conduct. However, you can still choose to remain anonymous, if you wish. The whistleblower’s identity and notification shall be kept confidential at all times.
